Free Initial Consultation

    A free initial consultation is where I always like to start, and I think you will, too.

Setting it up

    After our initial emails or conversation, we schedule a one hour consultation, or just do it on the spot if we both have time.

What we cover

    The free initial consultation includes a free workout assessment to identify where you’re starting from, where you want to go and how best to get there. We’ll both find out if online personal training can be a good fit for you.

What we’ll do

    We start with your goals and your prior experiences with exercise.

    Next we do a movement assessment that usually includes an overhead squat (one of my most informative diagnostics), and a few other brief exercises.

    Then we have you do some mobility and stretching to identify your current

flexibility

    We follow that with a light warm-up and–time permitting–we start to work through your primary movement patterns such as push, pull, hinge, squat, etc.

What we’ll find out

    These multiple assessments will give us a broad sense for the current state of your body.

        We wrap up with a recap of what we’ve discovered, how to address what you want to accomplish and a review your training options. If you decide to proceed, we set up your first training session before signing off.
